Kaza had twins this morning!

It's official! The buckling we got for Daisy has arrived! His registered name is Wildass Acres Toney Bay, but we just call him Toney. He's a pretty cute little guy, with icey blue eyes (a rarer variation of the already rare enough blue eyes). Blue eyes are apparently a dominant gene in goats, so here's to hoping that they pass on to Daisy's kids in a year or so. The two most recent generations of his pedigree are posted on the Buckling page.

This past round of the NSPE has been pretty busy for Daisy, as we've had people from the Truro Daily News as well as CTV come to do stories about her. Apparently, CBC was there too, but I wasn't in the barn at that point, and hadn't thought to put contact information up... Oh well, I'll remember for next year, since Daisy will be back, and I'll have Kaza there as well.
